Van Lanschot has today issued senior unsecured bonds for an amount of 500 million. The bonds have a term of three years, maturing on 22 April 2014, and a coupon of 4.625%. On the back of significant market interest, the bonds were successfully placed with a broad group of European institutional investors. The transaction was oversubscribed within a short space of time.
This issue, which forms part of Van Lanschot's normal funding activities, further improves the diversification of the bank's funding mix.
The bonds are listed on Euronext Amsterdam. The settlement date of the bonds is 19 April 2011.
Lead managers on this transaction are Rabobank International and JP Morgan.
