For the Group Risk Management department (location Amsterdam Zuidas), we are currently looking for a Quantitative Modelling intern. The Group Risk Management department is a young and dynamic department consisting of approximately 33 risk professionals, predominantly with a quantitative or financial background. The department is responsible for modelling, monitoring and managing all balance sheet risks, including credit risk, interest rate risk, market risk, and liquidity risk.
As a Quantitative Modelling intern, you will be part of the Quantitative Modelling team. During your internship, you will work together with the team to monitor, develop and review credit risk models. In addition, your activities may include risk analysis, data management, and stress testing. This internship will provide you with a unique opportunity to learn more about risk modelling in a private bank!
Who are we looking for?

In addition to the qualifications described above:
- You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree programme, preferably in Quantitative Finance, Econometrics, Financial Economics, or a similar quantitative economics field
- You are a team player
- You combine strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy
- You have a special affinity with and interest in the financial services industry
- You demonstrate a hands-on mentality
- You are proactive and independent
- You have experience with programming languages such as R, Matlab and/or software such as SAS
You are looking for a working internship opportunity for a minimum duration of three months and a maximum of six months.
