The Non-financial risk team is part of Group Risk management. NFRM is a second line function and we are responsible for facilitating the first to get insight in their operational risks, level of control and enabling them to make risk based decisions. We do this by providing the 1st line with the tools needed to identify, assess and monitor their risk and controls, facilitate them in the use of those tool and challenge them on the outcomes and proposed decisions. Furthermore we consolidate the information to provide the senior management of VLK a view on the current state of the operational risk profile of the organization. By engaging in these activities NFRM support VLK in achieving its strategic goals. 

De functie

In this role you will be function as the 2nd line risk manager in large (IT) change projects. This means that you will facilitate the risks assessments of strategic change project and monitor the progress of mitigating actions. Experience with ISAE 3402 (or equivalent) statement is a prerequisite. You will need to challenge the 1st line in the assessment of the risks and the feasibility of the mitigating actions, and monitor the progress of it. An experienced professional on information risk who is able to have an overarching view on the various elements of information risk and has sufficient in depth IT knowledge to challenge the first line. To be successful in this role you are a capable influencer, be organizationally sensitive and have strong analytical skills. It also requires a structured working method and ability to work independently. The function provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic organization with skilled professionals. It will enable you to work with the various parts of Van Lanschot Kempen and extend your skill set while working on complex projects.

  • Academic working level (Masters)
  • 8 to 12 years work experience preferably in the financial sector
  • Strong Analytical capabilities
  • Good verbal and writing skills both in Dutch and English
  • Experience in Information risk management, Project risk management and with ISAE 3402 statements
