Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management appoints Bob Campion as Client Director

Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management UK today announces the appointment of Bob Campion as
Client Director. In this role, Bob will work closely with institutional clients, including pension funds, to
develop and execute long-term investment strategies aimed at meeting their financial objectives. His core
responsibilities will encompass providing strategic advice and counsel on a range of services, from asset
allocation and portfolio construction to performance monitoring and building long-term de-risking plans.

Bob previously led the fiduciary management services at Charles Stanley and will join Van Lanschot
Kempen at the end of October. He brings 12 years of experience in fiduciary management, managing and
governing pension fund investment portfolios, and an additional 11 years in the pensions industry,
including as a trustee.

Bob brings a wealth of experience, not least guiding three pension schemes to buyout in the last four
years.

Nikesh Patel, Head of Client Solutions UK at Van Lanschot Kempen, said: “Bob brings with him extensive
experience helping defined benefit workplace pension schemes of all shapes and sizes to meet their
liabilities through bespoke fiduciary investment management services. Pension schemes now have a
multitude of choices when it comes to securing their end game with one solution no longer suiting all.
Many schemes are now weighing up whether to progress to buyout or run-on and our FM+ solution allows
appropriately sized schemes to consider running-on in a risk-controlled way*, with the aim of building up a
surplus to create additional value for sponsors, DB and DC scheme members. Bob’s experience helping
several schemes achieve endgame means he is ideally positioned for this role, and we look forward to
welcoming him to the firm.”

Bob Campion said: “I am delighted to join Van Lanschot Kempen. The team have been at the very
forefront of providing new, and innovative solutions to clients and I look forward to working with the team
as we continue to develop our fiduciary management offering, with a commitment to delivering
exceptional client care.”
