How supply chain disruptions increase the value of infrastructure

Geopolitical tensions, tariffs and supply shocks are forcing companies to face a new reality and rethink how secure their supply chains really are. For many, the disruptions challenge a long-held assumption: that if goods were needed, they would be available, regardless of where they were produced.

‘Just-in-time’ supply chain logic is giving way to a ‘just-in-case’ approach, and resilience has moved from the margins of corporate strategy to the centre. Building that resilience, requires something surprisingly tangible: more infrastructure.
