Fiduciary Management

Finding the right investment solution for each client. That's relationships sustained through trust. We call it Kom Verder.

Fiduciary management is at the core of our business. It’s our passion and our strength, built up over the last 20 years by our European teams.

We work with UK pension scheme trustees and sponsoring employers to help them execute their long-term strategies efficiently. And to target better outcomes for their scheme members.

At Van Lanschot Kempen our size and heritage are assets. We bring our clients the benefits of scale, expertise and experience across multiple market cycles. But we’re small enough to adopt an entrepreneurial ‘owner’ mindset. That means being agile and responsive in our investment stewardship and client service.

Drawing on our fiduciary management businesses, we share insights, experience and expertise from two of the deepest pension scheme markets in Europe, the UK and the Netherlands. Working with some of the world’s leading pension schemes along the way.

The UK economy does face serious challenges that this or a future government need to take seriously, but an IMF intervention remains unlikely.

This paper examines the IMF’s role and its relevance to the UK’s current situation. It reviews lessons learned from the 1970s Sterling crisis and considers what is driving UK gilt yields compared to international peers. it also considers what a theoretical bailout might look like

There’s a saying in Dutch, Kom verder, it means many things and it’s our business philosophy. It captures the way we work with clients but also the way we steer our investee companies to deliver shareholder value through active engagement.

Capital at risk. The value of investments and the income from them can fall as well as rise, and investors may not get back the amount originally invested. Past performance provides no guarantee for the future.
