Navigating through transitions

As an independent, specialist wealth manager, our purpose is to preserve and create wealth for our clients and society in a sustainable way. Our purpose and ethical principles underline our sustainability beliefs: ҅ We help our clients to navigate the important transitions of our times by collaborating, sharing insights and developing solutions for future generations; ҅ We are active investors with a strong belief in responsible ownership through dialogue. We act as long-term stewards by engaging with companies to encourage progress on their own sustainability targets and drive sustainability performance; ҅ We lead by example, integrating sustainability into all our roles and expertise.

1. We are committed to become a Net Zero wealth manager by 2050, with an intermediate target of at least 50% CO₂ reduction by 2030 (base year 2019). 

2. We strive to reduce the carbon footprint for discretionary AuM by -7% annually. In addition, to demonstrate our commitment to the Net Zero goals, we have set a -8% annual emission reduction target for our own organisation.

3. We aim to (re)allocate our clients’ assets towards the opportunities presented by the transitions. This is done through our in-house funds as well as externally managed funds. 

4. Our focus themes are: climate, biodiversity and diversity & inclusion.

5. We recognise that these three themes need to contribute to the most important transitions of our age like the energy transition and the food transition. Acting on these transitions also involves considering the other major transitions that are closely aligned, such as the materials transition.
