Today we announce that the KLM cabin crew pension fund has selected Kempen Capital Management, the asset management arm of Van Lanschot Kempen, as strategic investment advisor for its investment policy and the sustainability enhancement of the pension fund’s portfolio.
Mark-Jan Boes, Executive Director balance sheet and asset management of the pension fund comments: “We are pleased to have selected Van Lanschot Kempen as strategic advisor for our asset management. The clear separation between policy advice and policy implementation will strengthen the governance within our asset management chain. Van Lanschot Kempen provides advice on the implementation of the strategic investment policy. The operational execution of the investment policy will not change.”

The KLM cabin crew pension fund administers the pensions of over 14,400 participants and has invested assets of around €4 billion.
