Since 2023, Dutch sailor Marit Bouwmeester has been competing in the ILCA 6 class under the flag of Evi van Lanschot, our online investment platform. We are proud to have sponsored Bouwmeester on her journey to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, where she won a splendid gold medal.

Sporting credentials

At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Bouwmeester became the first Dutch gold medal-winning sailor since 1936; at the 2024 Games, she won gold again. She’s also four-time world champion, won a bronze medal at the European Championships in 2022 and received the ISAF World Sailor of the Year Award in 2017.
